Submissions

We want to hear from you.

DADS™ is a growing community of fathers committed to living the DADS™ pledge.

Living the DADS™ pledge isn’t easy in a digital age. That’s why we need DADS™ to share their own journeys, experiences, and wisdom as they have wrestled with screen time, sought for greater presence and found practical ways to lead their families at home.

Submissions Welcome

We welcome all submissions — reflections, experiences, stories, essays and insights — from DADS™.

Before submitting we invite you to:

  • Familiarize yourself with the DADS™ pledge and existing content.

  • Ensure your submission aligns with our tone and purpose of inspiring and encouraging fathers.

We try to read every submission. While not all submissions will be published, those selected will be contacted prior to publication.

AI Policy

We value the writing process and desire all our content to be original, authentic and written by real DADS™.

As DADS™ we are not opposed to using the remarkable tools available to us. At DADS™ before posting our own articles we typically use the following prompt in chat GPT:

What is the tone and message of this post? Are there any serious grammar errors that need fixing before posting?

Based on the feedback we make minor edits if necessary — but the voice remains authentic and human.

We occasionally use AI tools to help for research and brainstorming ideas but never to draft full articles. DADS™ need other humans to share, support and encourage; not an algorithm.

If you use AI in the writing process, we ask that you briefly explain how you used AI in the creative process.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for helping other DADS™. I look forward to reading your words.

From my home,

Matthew

Compensation

At the moment DADS™ is not able to offer payment for submissions. Your willingness to share your experiences, journeys and wisdom means a lot — especially as DADS™ is still young and growing. Thank you for choosing to be here and share even though there’s no monetary compensation. I hope you know how much your voice matters in helping, inspiring, and encouraging other DADS™ on their journey.
