Submissions

I want to hear from you.

DADS™ is a growing community committed to being the best men, husbands and fathers they can.

Achieving this isn’t always easy. That’s why we need DADS™ like you to share their own journeys, experiences, and wisdom as they have wrestled being present, developed character, and created real connection and how they’ve found practical ways to lead their families at home.

Submissions Welcome

I welcome all submissions — reflections, experiences, stories, essays and insights — from DADS™.

Before submitting I invite you to:

  • Familiarize yourself with DADS™ and existing content.

  • Ensure your submission aligns with the tone and purpose of inspiring and encouraging men, husbands, and fathers.

I try to read every submission. While not all submissions will be published, those selected will be contacted prior to publication.

Using AI

I value the writing process and desire all content to be original, authentic and written by real DADS™.

I am not opposed to using the remarkable tools available to us. Before sharing my own articles I typically use the following prompt in chat GPT:

What is the tone and message of this? Are there any serious grammar errors that need fixing?

Based on the feedback we make edits if necessary — but the voice remains authentic and human.

I occasionally use AI tools to help for research and brainstorming ideas but never to draft full articles. DADS™ need other humans to share, support and encourage; not an algorithm.

If you use AI in the writing process, I ask that you briefly explain how you used AI in the creative process.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for helping other DADS™. I look forward to reading your words.

From my home,

Matthew

Compensation

At the moment I’m not able to offer payment for submissions. Your willingness to share your experiences, journeys and wisdom means a lot — especially as DADS™ is still young and growing. Thank you for choosing to be here and share even though there’s no monetary compensation. I hope you know how much your voice matters in helping, inspiring, and encouraging other DADS™ on their journey.
